Well, friends. That’s a wrap. Last night was my last wedding for the unforeseeable future. When I started this little dream of mine three years and one week ago, I envisioned turning it into a full-time gig and being able to stay home with my daughter during the week. Well, then my day job got bigger and better and both were competing. Oh, and then I had another baby. In case that wasn’t enough, then COVID hit. And I realized it definitely wasn’t the best time to focus on A Pineapple Affair 100%. The stress of 2020 and rescheduling and sticking to contracts was a lot. But one thing I took away from 2020 was how grateful I am to see my babies and how blessed I was to be able to see them more than I ever thought possible. So I’m going to focus on my new day job and my daughter is going to be able to come to work with me in the fall and be a full time mama on the weekends. Maybe one day, I’ll get the urge again, but in the meantime I’ll just be looking at weddings on Instagram. Thank you so much to everyone who trusted me to make your wedding day stunning and stress-free. To all the vendors and brides who referred me. To everyone in the wedding business in CHS for being so supportive of one another, and just making this experience amazing. I can’t believe I won The Knot best of award twice, and have just been blown away by what I’ve been able to accomplish as little ole me. So thank you all for supporting and loving me on this journey! I hope our paths cross again someday. XOXO ❣️ Abby
